Asia Bizz: Japan Tobacco Inc has decided that they will be shutting their production in Austria within this year or maybe next year beginning so that they can improve their overseas production efficiency.

The tobacco company is making this move for the 320 jobs that were lost in Vienna and is also in talks with the local labor union. Also, some part of the Hainburg production which makes close to around 10 billion cigarettes a year will be moved to another location in the European Union in countries like Poland and Romania.

Headquarters of Japan Tobacco Inc is in Tokyo, Japan. In Japan the company has a market share of around 70 percent and the company also had the largest foreign takeover after the acquisition of Gallaher Group.

The company runs the Tobacco and Salt Museum in Tokyo, Japan. The company also operates on many other business from real estate to pharmaceuticals and foods.
