Asia Bizz: The much awaited Blackberry PlayBook tablet will soon be available in the stores. The tablet can now be pre-ordered from PC World, Dixons, and Curry’s. The PlayBook is reported to be available in stores in the UK from 16th June, after launching in USA last month.

Compared to the Apple iPad, the tablet will be power packed with Adobe Flash Player – which means that certain videos that couldn’t be played on the Apple iPad, can now be viewed in PlayBook.

Moreover, the PlayBook is even lighter than the Apple iPad 2 and weighs just 425 grams. The Blackberry tablet will have higher megapixel cameras, compared to the other cameras in the market. The PlayBook will have a 5MP rear camera and a 3MP front facing camera, which would be useful for video calling.

As told in the month of March, the camera of the Blackberry will be in sync with the homegrown application of video conferencing. This would avoid the usage of a third party app like that of Skype. Right now the users of Blackberry will have only a few apps available of their own, as compared to that of Apple iPad. There are possibilities that the number of applications may increase in future.

However, the new Blackberry tablet is a powerful one. As predicted before, the competition for the tablets is indeed increasing in the markets across the globe.
