Asia Bizz: Mobile phone manufacturing giant Nokia will soon be introducing two more dual sim phones X1-01 and C2-06 in the Indian market. The details of the products have not been disclosed by the company and will be announced on 4th June 2011.
This time, the dual sim handsets have promised better functions and features to cater the consumers with multiple numbers. The company has said that the handsets will be having storage facility of up to five different SIMs.
The phones will also have a dual stand by mode, with which the users an receive call and message notifications on both the SIM modules, which will relieve the user from turning the SIMs on and off. The handsets will have a better battery life and music and messaging features.
The storage of the phone can be extended up to 16 GB for storing music files. The 3.5 mm jack will allow the user to plug in your favorite pair of earphones or headphones. Earlier dual SIM phones launched by Nokia , the C1-00 and C2-00, are different from the present ones. The Nokia C2-06 will be powered by a Symbian Series 40 operating system along with a resistive touch screen and a slide out keypad.
