Asia Bizz: Daily news paper, Times of India of Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd have launched an application exclusively for Nokia phone users. The TOI app is now available for download for the Nokia smart phone users at the Nokia’s Ovi store.
Since its launch, the response of the users has been impressive. Now the users can have the latest news at the click of a button on their mobile phones instead of struggling with the long pages of the actual news paper.
The application will keep the users updated in terms of sports, entertainment, national international, business, health and technology. The application will bring you news every minute and will cover more than 30 Indian sites that will also include the latest reviews of the movies.
On the touch screen phones the users can even increase or decrease the font size of the text of the news in the app. The articles can also be shared with friends on Twitter, Facebook, email or SMS. The application is compatible for all Nokia phones with touch and Qwerty smart phones, which run on S60 and Symbian 3 platforms. Rishi Khiani, the CEO of Times Internet Limited has said that the partnership with Nokia will help both the brands to develop their segments globally.
