Asia Bizz: The much awaited Xoom tablet has been launched by Motorola in the Indian market. The Xoom tablet is the world’s first device to have Android 3.0 aka Honeycomb and happens to be one of the most anticipated devices of the year.

The Motorola Xoom processor features include a 1 GHz dual core processor, along with 1 GB of RAM. The external features include multitasking functions, front and rear facing cameras, 10.1 inch wide screen HD display along with Google Mobile services.

When it comes to connectivity, the Xoom includes Corporate Sync, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR + HID and micro USB 2.0 HS. The tablet is also equipped with a capacity of upto 32 GB on board user memory and upto 32 GB micro SD memory, and has tabbed browsing and customizable home screen with movable widgets.

The Google Mobile services includes Google Maps as well as access to more than 200,000 apps from the Android market. The tablet can support the beta version of the Adobe Flash Player 10.2, which can be downloaded from the Android market. Moreover, the tablet is power packed with a built in e-compass, accelerometer, adaptive lighting and gyroscope.

The new Motorola tablet will be available in India in two variants , Wi-Fi and 3G variant. The 3G variant will be available for Rs. 39,990, while the Wi-Fi version will be available at Rs. 32,990.
