Asia Bizz: Mobile giant Nokia is all set to launch its new C2-01 on 14th July for the low-cost handsets section. The handset will be released the same day Galaxy S II 4G will be released.

The new Nokia C2-01 is a S40 device with a 2.0 inch display with a resolution of 240 X 320 pixel screen. The phone is power-packed with features and weighs 89 gms and 15 mm thickness.

The connectivity features of the phone include EDGE, GPRS, Bluetooth, micro-USB connectivity, 3G with speeds of up to 384 kbps. The phone has a micro SD slot with an internal memory of 43 MB. The external memory can be extended up to 16 GB.

The Nokia C2-01 comes equipped with a 3.15 mega pixel camera, and has the capability to record QVGA quality videos at 15 frames per second. The phone also comes with stereo FM radio along with RDS, MP4/MP3 multi-media player and a range of games. The multi-media player allows the user to play several types of media files. The price of the unit has not yet been disclosed, but will definitely be a low cost phone.
