Asia Bizz: Mobile manufacturing giant Nokia might have several competitors in the market now, but still the company has managed to be the most trusted and the most popular brand of mobile phones among the Indian customers.
Nokia has topped ‘The Handset Hotlist’ for the month of July 2011. At least 12 handsets of Nokia were counted among the list of 25 most exciting mobile phones that were searched and by the online consumers. The details were found in the survey by ‘The Mobile Indian’ website.
The next on the list was Samsung, with six of its models on the most searched phone which also included a CDMA phone. According to the survey, Micromax and Sony Ericsson were in the third position. While a model each from the HTC, Dell and iPhone had complete the list of the 25 most exciting handsets.
The Handset Hotlist gives the marketers the idea of the changing trends and the preferences of the consumers every month. The Nokia C5-03, which was priced at Rs. 8,600 was the most popular handset, after which Nokia C6, priced at Rs. 12,000 had grabbed attention. The third place was grabbed by Nokia X7 priced at Rs. 18,000. While the number four position, had Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 which is priced at Rs. 14,700.
