Asia Bizz: Looking at the massive demand for diesel cars in the market, Chevrolet Beat has rolled out the diesel version in the Indian market. This has been the most awaited car of the year and will be officially out on the roads on 25th July 2011.

The vehicle has been on display and prospective customers can also have a test drive of the car. Moreover, the dealers have also started accepting the bookings of the Chevrolet Beat.

The Price of the diesel version of the Beat will range from Rs. 4.30 lakhs and Rs. 5.30 Lakhs. The customers who wish to book the car have to pay an amount of Rs. 25,000 with a waiting period of a month.

Customers will be able to choose four versions of the car – PS, LS, LT, and LT Option. The Diesel versions are same as the petrol version of the Beat. The Chevrolet Beat has a roaring 1 litre and 3 cylinder turbocharged diesel engine. The engine promises to execute an exceptional driving experience. The company has claimed that the Beat will be delivering an average of 24 kms per litre. Moreover, the diesel version of the Beat will also have the new electronic steering wheel to make the driving experience even better.
