Asia Bizz: South Korean company Samsung has recently introduced three new smartphones, which are based on Bada – its own operating system. The company has also introduced a new flagship model Wave 3, which has a software client for the new messaging service of the company, known as ChatOn.
The new Wave 3 has 1.4 GHz processor, 5 mega pixel camera with LED flash, 4 inch Super AMOLED display. The camera of the phone can also shoot videos at 720p.
The connectivity features of the phone include WI-Fi, High Speed Packet Access. Data can be downloaded up to 14.4 bps and can upload to 5.76 Mbps.
The Wave 3 has a metal case, which makes it different from the Samsung’s Android based Galaxy smart phones. Another advantage due to the Bada operating system is that it will add support for the Wi-Fi Direct, a technology which allows the user to connect to the compatible devices directly with each other. The phone also has an app ChatOn, which allows the users to chat with their friends and colleagues. The app will be free and will be available across major smart phone operating systems, laptops, as well as tablets. The ChatOn app will also include the feature of image sharing.
