Asia Bizz: Auto giant Hyundai is now all set to launch its Eon in the Indian market for its small car segment on the 13th October 2011. The new Eon will be the cheapest car that the South Korean company has ever launched in India.
The Hyundai Eon will be priced between Rs. 2.5 lakhs and Rs. Rs. 3.5 lakhs and would be powered with a 814 cc engine. The company is expecting that once the car is launched, then it could take over the current auto leader in the market Maruti Suzuki Alto.
Currently, the Alto of Maruti Suzuki is the best selling car in the Indian market. The Eon will come with certain exclusive features which the other cars do not have in the segment. The Hyundai Eon features 2 tone beige interiors, tubeless tires, front as well as rear seat belts, parking brake, two spoke steering wheel, spare wheel, disc brakes for the front and drum brakes for the rear.
The features of Eon also include child safety and many more such interesting ones which one would hardly find in this particular segment. The new Eon also comes with a heater with 4 speed blower, gear shift indicators and power outlets for the mobile charging.
