Asia Bizz: South Korean car giant, Hyundai Motors has registered a 12% growth in its sales in the month of September in India, there was an eligible increase to 57,808 units being sold last month. Last year, during the month of September, Hyundai sold 51,444 units in the Indian market.
There was also a significant increase in the export sector of the company; the car giant witnessed a 13% jump in its total exports with 21,853 units being dispatched overseas. The Hyundai Eon will be the latest offering by the company which is expected to be launched in the market early this month and there are huge expectations from this hatchback.
Hyundai was able to sell a favorably good number of high-end vehicles in the Indian market which marked an aura of strong response to the Korean manufacturer in Indian soil after a period of time. The Santa Fe SUV was able to find 198 buyers last month in India.
