Asia Bizz: Finnish mobile manufacturer Nokia has recently unveiled four new mobile phones under its Asha series. The company unveiled the Nokia Asha 300, 201, 303, and 200 on October 26.
All the four mobile phones come under the affordable price segment. The name of the series has been derived from Hindi work Asha which means hope. The company has given the name for the hope of opportunities of communication, as well as connectivity for its users.
Out of the four phones of the Asha series, three of them have dual SIM options and all the phones feature third party apps. The Asha 303 gives the user an option to choose between QWERTY keyboard and capacitive touch screen for input.
The phones have a 1GHz processor and come with many pre-installed apps like Angry Birds and Nokia Maps. The Asha phones also provide the users with a support for Whatsap messenger and Facebook Chat. On the other hand, the Asha 303 and 300 have similar features and support 3G and also WLAN connectivity options. The phone has a 5 MP camera, music player, FM radio, Bluetooth connectivity and can support memory cards up to 32 GB.
The phones are expected to be shipped by the fourth quarter of this year.
