Asia Bizz: Auto giant Nissan Motors on 3rd November launched the limited edition of Nissan X-Trail, which is a compact luxury sports utility vehicle in the Indian market. The new luxury car has been launched so as to promote the new reality show called ‘X-treme Trail’.
At the launch ceremony in Mumbai, a statement was issued by the company which had said that the new X-Trail has been powered by a 2.0 L diesel engine and would be priced at Rs. 22. 79 lakhs. As of now, the X-Trail will be imported in the country as a being unit (CBU) from the base market.
With its launch, the new SUV will be locking horns with the other competitors in the market like Ford Endeavor, Chevrolet Captiva, Toyota Fortuner and Mitsubishi Outlander. Apart from the X-Trail, the company also boasts other cars like the Micra hatchback, mid-sized sedan Sunny, premium luxury sedan Teana and the luxury sports car 37 oz.
The reality show will be premiered on 5th November 2011 on the channels including Fox Traveler, Star World, Channel V and Nat Geo. The reality show will be a six part series and the reality show will also be like a marketing campaign for the latest SUV.
