Asia Bizz: Indian auto giant, Tata Motors, is now all set to introduce the face-lifted version of its Nano from the small car segment. The new Nano is expected to be unveiled this month in the Indian market.

The new Tata Nano has fresh new interiors, improved mechanics and will also be available in new colors like orange, green and pearl white. The new Nano, also known as the 2012 Nano, will have a passenger seat rear-view mirror and the interiors have been built with beige color to give it a fresh new look.

The other new features in the new Nano include new seats, new front seat head rests, floor mats and new wheel cap design. The Indian auto manufacturer will be offering the new Nano with tweaked suspension set up along with an anti-roll bar so as to improve its ride and handling.

Some of the other new features of the new Tata Nano include a new reworked steering geometry, along with an optimized castor angle to reduce the effort of the steering while driving. Even the power generation has been improved from 35bhp to 38 bhp. Despite the improvements in the new Nano, no major price hike is expected in the new car and is likely to be available in the same price tag.
