Asia Bizz: Luxury car maker Mercedes Benz announced on December 18, 2011 that it will be launching its SLS AMG Roadster at the Auto Expo at New Delhi, India in the month of January 2012. The company said that it will also display the concept A-Class, which is popular in the global market for its expressive design as well as technological marvels.
The managing director and the chief executive officer of Mercedez Benz India, Peter Honegg said that their showcase this year at the expo will be impressive in terms of presentation, as well as display vehicles. Honegg added that there will also be many show stoppers including the launch of the stunning SLS AMG Roadster.
Mercedes will be displaying more than 10 cars which also includes the SLS GT3 and the DTM car at their stall at the Auto Expo. The company is also launching a driving academy, along with Jaypee Sports International by the month of April 2012.
At the Expo, the participants will be allowed to enroll themselves in the academy. Honegg also said that there will be a special lounge area which will offer an exclusive experience and special accessory outlet. There will also be opportunities to offer networking possibilities for the patrons and representatives.
