Asia Bizz: Mobile phone giant Sony Ericsson has recently announced the launch of its Live With Walkman smartphone in the Indian market. The company launched the smartphone on January 18, 2012 in the country and it will be available in the market for Rs. 14,549.

Sony Erisson is also offering a free premium handset along with the usual headset with the purchase of the phone. The new Live with Walkman has a 1GHz processor and runs on Android 2.3 OS.

The other features of the phone include a 3.2 inch display, 5 MP rear camera and also a front camera for video calling purposes. In the future, it is expected that the smartphone might get the Android 4.0 update.

P Balaji, the managing director of Sony Ericsson India said that the company has a long tradition of providing innovative music phones on the move and the ‘Live with Walkman’ is another blockbuster in the line of its exquisite legacy. Balaji added that they are proud of their association with Aircel and Sony Music and with the help of the collaboration Sony Ericsson is enabling the users to access the music on the new fully loaded Live With Walkman smartphone.
