The Official online store of Samsung has started to take the pre-bookings of the Galaxy Tab 2 (GT-P3100) tablet in India. The tablet has been priced at Rs. 23,250 and is all set to be launched in the market.
The tablet is the company’s first tablet to be powered by Android’s 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and was first announced in February 2012. The features of the Galaxy Tab include 17.78 inches capacitive touch screen, 1 GHz dual core processor and 3 mega pixel camera and a VGA front camera for video calling.
The company claims that the device has a 4000 mAH Li-Ion battery which a capacity of delivery 7 hours of battery life. The connectivity features of the device include Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity with 8 GB internal storage, which can be further be expanded using a micro SD card.
Reports say that some of the selected retailers might sell the device for 19,500. The device will be available for purchase by the end of this month. The new Galaxy Tab 2 will be the sixth Android tablet from the company which will be released in the Indian market. The other five devices which are already been released include, Galaxy Tab, Galaxy Tab 750, 730, 680 and 620.
