Just weeks back the smartphone manufacturer, HTC launched its first Dual SIM Android smartphone Desire V in the global market. The smartphone is already available in the Indian market and has been priced at Rs. 21,990.
The new Desire V runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and has been powered by a 1 GHz QualComm processor and boasts a 4 inch WVGA display. The device is also the first smartphone from the company to offer Dual SIM with dual standby.
At the same time the Desire V restricts the users to use 3G only on one SIM and the other SIM offers just GPRS support. The device is also loaded with Beats Audio support and Sense 4.0. For some it might seem but pricy, but the fact cannot be ignored that it is the only dual SIM Android device in this range and this might be a strong factor in terms of sales.
The other features of the phone include, 5 mega pixel camera with auto focus and LED backlight, FM radio, 4 GB internal memory and micro SD card slots, 512 MB RAM , Wi Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack,GPS/AGPS, micro USB and weighs just 114 gms.
