Search engine giant Google has unveiled its much awaited Android 4.1 Jelly Bean during the I/O 2012. After the arrival of the latest Operating System from Android, South Korean giant Samsung has said that it will soon be announcing which of its latest devices will be eligible for the Jelly Bean update.

In terms of the Android community, Samsung leads with the best in class devices like the Galaxy S III and is also creating new device categories with the products like the Galaxy Note. The company said, Samsung has delivered the most Nexus-branded lead OS devices and we are pleased that Google will be bringing Samsung Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S customers the first experiences of Jelly Bean on a handheld device.”

Even HTC has unveiled Jelly Bean plans for its devices. HTC said, “We are excited about Android Jelly Bean and are planning to support it across a variety of our devices. We are reviewing the software to determine our upgrade plans and schedule, so please stay tuned for more updates on specific device upgrade plans.”

Some interesting features of the Android Jelly Bean include, smoother operating system, faster and more accurate keyboard, new features for camera and an improved notifications bar. Meanwhile, the Ice Cream Sandwich OS is yet to reach many of the devices.
