The first limited edition of the little giant Nintendo 3DS LL Pikachu Yellow will go on sale from September, 2012. The device will be available at the cost of 18,900 yen and can be purchased only by preorder at one of the seven Pokemon Center stores in Japan.
The Nintendo 3DS will be available from August 25 to September 14, 2012 or until the quantities run out. All the preorders must be paid in full in advance and the devices will be available for pick up or delivery beginning from September 15, 2012. The official Pokemon Company press release has mentioned that Nintendo 3DS LL Pikachu Yellow will not be available for in-store purchase after September 15, 2012.
