Auto giant Toyota is now looking forward to increase its capacity at its Indian plants in Bidadi by March 2013. The company is looking forward to increase the capacity from 2,10,000 units to 3,10,000units in a year .
The capacity of the first plant would increase from 90,000 units to 100,000 units a cost of Rs. 70 crore, while the second plant’s capacity would increase from 1,20,000 to 2,10,000 units an investment of Rs. 830 crores. At the first plant the company manufactures the Innova and Fortuner, while the Etios, Corolla, Altis and the new Camry models are being manufactured at the second plant.
