South Korean electronics manufacturer Samsung has launched its 7-inch Galaxy Tab 2 311 for the Indian market. The device has been listed on the official store of the company for Rs. 13,900 and will be offered on eBay India for Rs. 13,899.
The new Galaxy Tab 2 311 has similar specifications as compared to its 3G sibling, which is the Galaxy Tab 2 310. The device features a 7-inch PLS TFT LCD display, with a 1024 x 600 resolution. The tablet comes pre-installed with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and also features a 3-megapixel rear camera.
Moreover, the tablet comes with plenty of pre-loaded educational content and users can also download additional information from the company’s 'My Education Service'. Meanwhile, Samsung has already been offering the Galaxy Tab 2 310 which is priced at Rs. 19,500, while the 3G version of the tablet is officially priced at Rs.23,250.
Samsung offers a range of tablets with measurements from 8.9-inch to 10.1-inch screen sizes. Earlier reports have claimed that the company is at present working on an Android-based Galaxy Tab 3 Plus. The upcoming tablet is expected to be a high-end device which will be available in 16 GB and 32 GB variants. This is good news for Samsung fans, as the company continues its dominance of the hand-held tech landscape.
