Auto giant Honda has launched its fourth generation CR-V car for the Indian market on February 12, 2013. The models is available in four variants, with the Inspire and Elegance styling packages.
The CR-V has been priced at Rs. 19.95 lakh ex-showroom price New Delhi.This will also mark the first time that the company would be assembling the CR-V at its Greater Noida facility near Delhi. The 2013 CR-V will have a new grille with headlamps which are also looking sharper than before.
Moreover, it is also shorter in length by 30 mm as compared to the outgoing SUV, which retains the same wheelbase as before. There are wraparound units for the tail lights, which also have sharper edges. In terms of the interiors, the new CR-V has a re-designed dashboard and steering wheel. The steering wheel has audio as well as cruise control, with a multi-information display as standard.
The top line variant has Bluetooth and satellite navigation as regular features and even the base models is set to have USB, DVD and iPod connectivity with a reverse camera. The new CR-V will have the same engine as the outgoing model, but the company has tweaked the 2.0 and 2.4 liter engines to produce more power.
