In some good news for Indians who often struggle for a visa to go abroad, British Prime Minister David Cameron has announced that the country will introduce a same-day visa service for the Indian investors and visitors. An attempt will be made by the British government to continue to attract Indian students and businesses by offering this new visa service.

Cameron also said that there will not be any cap on the number of Indian students who can study and work in the UK. The British Prime Minister added that Indian students will be allowed to stay for any length of time to work at graduate level jobs as well.

Cameron arrived in Mumbai on February 18, 2013 and is here on a three-day visit. The British premier, who is accompanied by the largest ever UK delegation, said that he wants Britain and India to have a special relationship, which is about the future and not the past. This is the second visit by Cameron in less than three years after assuming office.

The Prime Minister said, “We have the biggest visa operations anywhere else in the world right here in India. I announce that we are going to introduce, for businesses, a same-day visa service to those who want to come to our country and invest…”. Cameron has also described India as a great phenomena of the century.
