Tablet manufacturer Intex has launched its 7-inch, 3G enabled iBuddy tablet for Rs. 9,990 in the Indian market. With the launch of the new tablet, the company is aiming to target the K 12 education segment, as it features Educlass, which is a school application that offers pre-loaded NCERT textbooks for classes from 1st to 12th.
The device is powered by a 1Ghz dual core processor, 1GB RAM, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, 4GB internal memory which can be expandable by up to 32GB with the help of a micro SD card the tablet also offers HDMI connectivity, through which the tablet can be connected to larger screens.
Other features of the device include a 3 megapixel rear camera, 1.3 mega pixel front camera and dual-SIM slots with voice calling support. The device also comes preloaded with applications like Facebook, Yahoo Messenger, Skype and Nimbuzz. Sanjay Kumar Kalorina, the General manager of mobile business, while commenting on the launch said, they will continue to bring innovative products to their customers at an affordable price.
The iBuddy tablet is available in two colours brown and black which can be purchased from 15,000 plus distributors and outlets across the country.
