The much-awaited new vehicle by Ford – Ford EcoSport – is all set to be presented to the Indian market on June 26, 2013. Media reports have confirmed the release date, however the pricing of the latest vehicle is still a mystery. Bookings have already begun by the Ford dealers across the nation and the price is expected to be between Rs. 6 to Rs 9 lakh.
The new compact SUV by Ford was first displayed at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo, where it has already received great reviews and has also generated huge enthusiasm among the Ford vehicle lovers across the country. In some other countries – like Brazil and China, where it has already been launched – the car has proved to be a big success.
The company has also set up a manufacturing unit in Chennai in recent times and the production has started there has started since May 2013. Some of the major features of the vehicle include Smart Keyless entry, as well as Emergency Assistance, which connects vehicle occupants with emergency services after an accident. With Emergency Assistance, Ford EcoSport will become India’s first vehicle to offer a potentially life-saving feature.
The vehicle will also have attractive interior and 20 intelligent storage spaces which total over 21 liters and most of it are very easily accessible by the driver.
