The new Innova was recently launched in the Indonesian market. The current Toyota Innova has been on the market for almost a decade and the next-generation Innova is still a couple of years away. Therefore, the company decided to give the current-gen Innova a refreshed front and rear fascia. The new vehicle from Toyota will have a new, big front grille with plenty of chrome garnishing, bigger rear number plate housing and a revised bumper.

In the Indonesian market, the new Innova is powered by the 2.0-liter petrol engine, which also powered the outgoing model of the car. The four pot motor delivers a maximum power of 136 bhp and a peak torque of 183 Nm. In terms of the diesel engine option, it has a 2.5-liter direct injection oil burner which has been carried over from the previous model.

The maximum power of the diesel engine is 102 bhp and the peak torque of 200 Nm. The engine comes with only a manual transmission. So far, Toyota Kirloskar Motors has not revealed the latest Innova’s launch date.
