Celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor has been the brand ambassador for Tata I-Shakti brand by Tata Chemicals. The company on November 19, 2013 announced that the famous chef will remain with the company as its brand ambassador for another three years.
Tata said that the I-Shakti brand provides unpolished pulses which are available at the moment in 21 states. The statement from the company said that Kapoor was first connected with the popular brand back in 2012.
Ashvini Hiran, the Tata Chemicals COO – Consumer Products Business said, “With consumers becoming increasingly health conscious, we are glad to have Master Chef Sanjeev Kapoor to endorse Tata I-Shakti brand which aims to offer a wholesome, hygienic and nutritious product to the consumers.” Hiran went on to say that their partnership will continue to enrich their engagement with consumers who are looking to have both great food and a healthy dose of nutrients.
The Haryana-based chef has lent his name to many restaurants in the country and has released books and CD ROMS on how to follow recipes. In 2011, Kapoor launched the channel Food Food, which is a high-definition channel dedicated to food. In addition to that, the chef has come up with a show ‘Sanjeev kapoor Ke Kitchen Ke Khiladi’, which went on air on September 16, 2013.
