Indian mobile phone manufacturer Karbonn launched its new Titanium S5i for the Indian market. The new phone has been included in the popular Titanium series of smartphones, which have been competing with the company’s biggest rival Micromax for a long time.

The new Titanium S5i has appeared online and this might be Karbonn’s latest attempt to stay in the fierce competition in the smartphone segment. The brand new smartphone from Karbonn seems to be a cheaper version of the Titanium S5 and has been named Titanium S5i. The latest device from Karbonn has not been officially launched yet, but it has been priced at Rs. 7,999 on the popular online shopping retailer HomeShop18.com.

The handset is available in white and deep blue color options. On Flipkart.com, the device has labeled as ?coming soon?. The new Karbonn Titanium S5i will compete against existing models, such as the Micromax Bolt series which has a 5-inch capacitive touch display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels.

The phone is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor, has 512 of RAM and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. The smartphone has an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera.
