Electronics giant HP released its latest tablet devices, the Slate 6 Voice Tab and the Slate 7 Voice Tab in India. The company has already put up the Slate 6 Voice Tab for sale through e-commerce site Flipkart.com and the new device is priced at Rs. 23,500.
Even the official website of the company is selling the device, though the price is a bit lower – Rs. 22,990, while the Slate 7 Voice Tab is yet to go on sale. The California-based multinational company says that the new devices have been designed in order to help the next generation of mobile customers with their multi-tasking, even when they are on the go. HP’s latest device was launched by the popular Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone.
The Slate 6 Voice Tab has a 6-inch LCD Capacitive Touchscreen IPS display which provides an HD resolution of 1280 x 720. The Slate 6 is powered by a Marvell PXA 1088 1.2 GHz Quad-Core processor with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system. The device also features a 5-megapixel Auto Focus rear camera with LED flash, as well as a 2-megapixel front camera.
It has a sufficient 16 GB of internal storage with a microSD support which can be expandable up to 32 GB.
