Hong Kong superstar Jackie Chan’s son Jaycee Chan has been released from jail after six months of imprisonment in China. The star kid was arrested and jailed for a drug offence and was detained in August 2014.
Jaycee was caught possessing 100 gms of marijuana and had even tested positive for the drug. Chan’s son was caught as a massive drive in the country to crack down drug use. A court in Beijing had sentenced in January 2015 and took account the time that he had already spent in jail.
MStones, the management company of the star revealed that the actor was released on February 13, 2015. The statement added that a press conference will be hosted for a public apology and explanation on February 14, 2015. The 32 year old singer and actor was arrested along with Taiwanese star Kai Ko. Ko was also detained for two weeks for drug use. On the other hand Chan had to face a more serious offence of providing shelter to others who were abused to drugs.
Father Jackie Chan is at present on a tour of Asia to promote his movie ‘Dragon Blade’. The superstar at a press conference expressed his happiness over his son’s release and added that he was looking forward to finish work over an album.
