Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan underwent a knee surgery at the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai and has been discharged on May 21, 2015. The ‘Happy New Year’ star who is currently shooting for the movie ‘Raees’ had been complaining of swelling and pain on his left knee.
Dr. Sanjay Desai, who operated on the actor said, “SRK has undergone Arthroscopic surgery of left knee at Breach Candy Hospital. Khan has been suffering from repeated pain and swelling of left knee over the last several months… He has recovered well…”
Despite the immense pain, the actor Tweeted to thank his wellwishers and fans for their well-wishes. The upcoming movie ‘Raees’ is directed by Rahul Dholakia and is produced by Farhan Akhtar. The action thriller flick also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Mahira Khan and Farhan Akhtar.
Mahira will be seen playing the female lead role while Nawazuddin will also be seen in an important role.The makers of the movie began shoot in April 2015 and is scheduled to be released on Eid 2016. Shahrukh is also shooting for his upcoming movie ‘Fan’ and was last seen in the blockbuster flick ‘Happy New Year’ opposite actors Sonu Sood, Deepika Padukone, Boman Irani and others. The movie was directed by Farah Khan and was produced by Gauri Khan.
