Electronics manufacturing giant Panasonic has launched a new smartphone for the Indian market known as the T50 that is based on the company’s SAIL interface. The new handset will be available in the Indian market for Rs. 4,900 and will be available in Rose Gold, Champagne Gold and Midnight Blue colors.
The features of the device include 4.5 inch an FWVGA display with 480 X 854 pixels resolution, 1.3 GHz quad core processor with 1 GB RAM and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with an internal storage of 8 GB which can be expanded up to 32 GB through micro SD cards. Other features of the smartphone includes child mode, Pose mode, and watermark.
The connectivity features of the device includes Wi Fi, 3G, Bluetooth and GPS, with a 1,600 mAh battery to complete the package. Pankaj Rana, the business head of the Mobility division at Panasonic India said, “Our latest introduction in the Indian market is a novelty because it arrives with the launch of Panasonic’s in-house software, the SAIL user interface.”
Rana added that the UI is integrated with a specialized SAIL camera and that it is an app driven smartphone that combines the 3G connectivity as well as the multiple app smoothness for a user friendly exoerience.
