Reliance Jio has become one of the most dominant telecom operators in India. Other operators in the country too are coming up while offering lucrative deals for its subscribers. State owned telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has introduced new offers to counter Jio recharge offers.

BSNL has announced a recharge coupon of Rs. 249 which will provide unlimited calls, local and STD with 1GB data per day with a validity of 28 days. But the catch is that the free voice calls are restricted within the BSNL’s own network with a data speeds at 3G levels. The telecom giant has said that the offer is limited for a short period and will be available only till October 25, 2017.

BSNL has also launched a recharge coupon of Rs. 429 which offers 1 GB Data per day with unlimited calls local and STD with a validity of 90 days for the pre-paid subscribers. This recharge has been introduced to counter with Reliance Jio’s popular Rs. 399 recharge which has a validity of 84 days, 1 GB data per day and free unlimited calls local and STD. Juo has also launched a new recharge coupon of Rs. 149 which offers 2 GB data, unlimited calls local and STD with a validity of 28 days. Even other telecom operators like Idea, Airtel and others are trying their best to offer the most lucrative deals for its subscribers.

The Reliance giant has claimed that it has added 130 million subscribers which has led to a price war between the existing operators. Jio has also joined hands with mobile manufacturers to offer additional 4G data benefits. BSNL has promised to launch 4G network by the end of 2017. Reliance Jio started off by grabbing subscribers by offering free calls and data at no cost at all and gradually introduced recharge vouchers. The telecom giant has managed to maintain its subscribers even after introducing paid service.
