Asia Bizz: Taiwanese mobile phone manufacturer, HTC, has introduced another Android phone on a budget. The HTC Explorer is the latest Android phone by the company at less cost.

The new HTC Explorer is the replacement of HTC Smart which could not catch much attention of the customers. The HTC Smart was under the Wildfire S and features like 3 mega pixel camera, 3.2 inch HVGA touch screen and a 600 MHz processor.

The features of the Explorer include Bluetooth 3.0, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and 483 MB ROM. The only drawback of the phone is that it does not have a front facing camera but still is equipped with Android 2.3.5 as well as HTC Sence 3.5.

Along with the launch of the Explorer, the company will also debut a few of its applications, which are going to be useful for those who are looking for a budget smartphone. The applications Data Monitor keeps a track of how much data the phone has till now crunched. Moreover, the application will also keep a track of the SMS and voice minutes. Till now no idea of the pricing of the Explorer has been revealed but it is expected to be much cheaper. The HTC Explorer will be launched in the month of October in Europe and Asia.
