Asia Bizz: India bound Austrian motorcycle manufacturer KTM has recently unveiled the official specifications of its 200 Duke. The new Duke is expected to be launched at a later date this year by the Indian auto giant Bajaj Auto in the Indian market.
The new Bajaj KTM Duke 200 will be powered by one of the most powerful engines for its segment. The new Duke will have a 4 stroke liquid cooled single cylinder along with a displacement capacity of 200 cc.
The Duke 200 will have the maximum power output capacity of 25 Bhp. In terms of competition, the new Duke is expected to lock horns with the already launched Honda CBR 250 R.
The Honda CBR has a bigger engine than the Duke, yet the output capacity of the engine remains the same. Moroever, the Honda CBR 250R also has a better S/B of 0.72 which clearly indicates that the engine performs better. The features of the new Duke include front and rear disk brakes, electric start, 6 speed manual transmission, forced oil lubrication, liquid cooling system with water pump, 10.5 litres of fuel tank capacity, 125 kg kerb weight, O ring chain and 170 mm of ground clearance. Bajaj has not yet revealed the estimated pricing of the bike.
