Asia Bizz: Laptop manufacturing giant Dell will soon be launching its tablet Latitude ST based on Windows 7 operating system in the Indian market. The company has claimed that the new tablet will be having all the features of a Windows PC and that the shipping of the tablet would start from November 29, 2011.
The new tablet PC has been designed specially for business people and is expected to be packed with special security and productivity features. The most interesting part of the tablet is that it will come with the Windows 7 OS and users will get the feeling that the line between the tablets and the PCs is slowly fading away.
Some of the features of the tablet include a 10. 1-inch capacitive multi-touchscreen, along with the digital pen and a resolution of 1280 X 800. It has an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 720 p HD front-facing video camera, Intel graphics Media accelerator 600 and weighs just 816 gms.
The other connectivity features include: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Dell wireless, USB 2.0 SD memory card reader, stereo headphone, microphone combo jack and HDMI. Till now, the price of the tablet has not yet been revealed. It comes with many built-in applications for people such as health care, education and other sectors.
