South Korean giant Samsung is now all set to introduce its upcoming flagship phone Galaxy S IV on March 14, 2013, at an event in New York City’s Radio City Music Hall. Samsung’s rival Apple has always followed the strategy of revealing a product only on the big stage, with an executive giving out detailed information on the product. However, Samsung could be taking a different approach.
There have been many instances where highly guarded secrets about the new phone continue to leak. A while ago, certain images of the device were leaked online which did not give a clear picture of the device, but it was evident that the new phone might look very similar to the Galaxy S III.
The new handset could even be a bit bigger. Another leaked detail had revealed that the S IV will have a 5-inch Super AMOLED display, with a resolution of 1080p HD, running on Android 4.2, also known as the Jelly Bean. There were rumors that the pone would also have an 8-core processor and up to 64 GB of storage space with 13-megapixel camera.
Another feature of the phone under speculation was whether the screen would automatically scroll if the device detects that a user is looking at the screen. The latest report has said that the handset will feature a 3D camera, after a trademark request on March 5, 2013 was filed.
