Electronics giant Sony unveiled two of its new smartphones on March 18, 2013, which run on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean Operating system. The company unveiled its Xperia SP and Xperia L phones, which are expected to be launched during the second quarter of 2013 and will be available in red, white and black colors.

The new Xperia SP has a 4.6-inch TFT screen with Bravia engine 2 technology, which supports 720 p videos. The smartphone is powered by a 1.7 GHz dual-core processor with 8 GB internal storage. The device offers micro SD card support up to 32 GB.

The Xperia SP has an 8 megapixel LED flash on its rear and a VGA camera on the front for video calling. The phone has connectivity features like 2G, 3G, Bluetooth, NFC, Wi-Fi and micro USB. The smartphone also features a 2,370 mAh battery with a case that is made of plastic and is co-molded with aluminium.

On the other hand, the Xperia L has a 4.3-inch TFT display with a scratch resistant cover, which is powered by a 1 GHz dual core processor. The device also has 8 GB of on-board storage and a 32 GB micro SD expansion. This smartphone also features an 8 megapixel camera with LED flash and a front VGA camera.
