Bollywood movie ‘Race 2’ seems to be in trouble as the Delhi High Court has expressed displeasure over the content of the flick. The court was not in favor of some scenes in the movie which show nudity and vulgarity.

A divisional bench which consists of Chief Justice D Murugesan and VK Jain said, “Please think where the film industry is going. You are teaching indiscipline to children”. A public interest litigation (PIL) is being heard which has alleged that the movie promotes vulgarity and has showed nude scenes.

The PIL has sought a ban on the movie. The observation of the court came after the counsel, who was appearing on behalf the directors and producers of the movie, said that the Central Film Certification Board has already cleared its release. The court is also looking for a response from the ministry of information and broadcasting (CBFC) and the Delhi government and has left the matter for Friday.

The petition was filed by a social worker Teena Sharma. On the other hand, the court had earlier directed the central government to consider a plea against the movie and to take appropriate action within a fortnight. Sharma has once again moved to the court, after the government failed to act. The social worker said that she was deeply hurt by the nude scenes and dialogues with double meaning.
