Finnish mobile company Nokia’s Asha 210 phone has now been launched in the Indian market and has appeared in two Indian stores. The new phone’s dual SIM-capabilities and Whatsapp key is a good for people who need to stay connected.
The device has been spotted on online stores Saholic and Infibeam, which have the ‘coming soon’ tag on their websites. The Nokia Asha 210 is a budget phone, which the company is using to make a comeback in the mobile market. The online portal Saholic has mentioned that the new Asha is all set to hit Indian stores on May 30, 2013.
The features of the Asha 210 include a 2.4-inch display, with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, a 2 megapixel camera, with 4x digital zoom; the camera also has white balance modes and automatic light sensitivity. The camera of the device is good enough and allows video recording at 10 frames per second. The connectivity features of the phone include GPRS, Wifi, Bluetooth, USB connectivity and is similar to that of any leading smartphone.
The internal memory of the device can be increased up to 32GB with the help of microSD card. The phone is different from other budget phones as it benefits from the partnership between Nokia and WhatsApp, to offer the message-based service for free on all Nokia Asha 210 devices.
