Luxury auto giant Mercedes-Benz has deployed low-floor, air-conditioned buses for the convenience of its employees in the city of Pune. With the deployment of these buses, employees in India will be able to travel to and from their workplace in style and comfort. Traffic on the roads of Pune is increasing day by day and due to this the company has decided to provide its employees some pampering.
Eberhard Kern, Managing Director and CEO of Mercedes-Benz India said, “At Mercedes-Benz India we give a lot of importance to employee safety and well-being. Our commitment towards ensuring a safe, relaxing and comfortable journey for our employees to work has been reiterated with the introduction of new Mercedes-Benz low-floor city buses for their daily commute.” The buses feature superior air suspension technology and have a good stability and ride comfort.
Along with that, the employee buses also have many other essential features, including multiple charging points, powerful air conditioner, high cushioning, destination board. In terms of safety, the bus is the first one in India to be certified with bus body code certification. The low entry design of the bus ensures that passengers can board it without any difficulty.
Overall, there will be 16 buses which will be commuting between Pune and Chakkan.
