Auto giant Honda has launched its all-new 2014 Honda Accord sedan on September 12, 2013, with the 3-liter V-6 model exclusively for China. The new vehicle has been launched on the company’s new three-year or 100,000-kilometer vehicle warranty policy.

The President of Guangqi Honda Automobile Co, Toshiaki Mikoshiba at the launching ceremony in Shanghai said, “The ninth-generation Accord will elevate the industrial standard, and set the new benchmark for mid- and high-end cars… It will bring unprecedented delighted surprise to Chinese customers”. The ninth generation of the Accord revealed in Shanghai has the first-ever application of a continuously variable transmission on 2-liter and 2.4-liter models and the six-speed automatic 3-liter V-6 in accordance with the market demands in China.

The new Accord has been completely redesigned from the ground up in order to deliver brand new levels of fuel efficiency and fun-to-drive performance in the midsize segment. The new line-up is powered by an array of new Earth Dreams powertrains, which includes the next generation of Honda 2.4-liter direct-injected VTEC 4-cylinder engine, as well as Earth Dreams 3-liter VTEC V-6.

The new vehicle has alloy wheels with standard features, which also include a rearview camera and expanded View Driver’s Mirror, Bluetooth Hands Free Link, iPod, USB, Pandora internet radio compatibility and SMS text fiction message function.
