Laptop manufacturing giant Lenovo has released its latest IdeaPad Flex 2 notebook with touchscreen in India. Lenovo said that this is the new model and is also the world’s first dual-mode notebook with 10-point multitouch, that can switch between laptop mode for the regular use and stand mode for touchscreen.

The new IdeaPad Flex 2 has Windows 8 operating system and features a display which can be flipped 300-degrees. It has a 14-inch screen with 1366 x 768p resolution and comes with AccuType Keyboard of the company. The device is powered by a fourth-generation Intel Core i3 processor with 4 GB of RAM and 2GB Nvidia GeForce GT 740M Graphics card, which is optional.

When it comes to connectivity, the IdeaPad Flex 2 has Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, one each of USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 and HDMI ports, card reader, as well as Ethernet port. Other features of the newest laptop include 720p front camera and a 48Wh battery, which is able to play full HD videos for six hours.

More features of the new IdeaPad Flex 2 include Lenovo Cloud Storage, Dolby Advanced audio, voice control and OneKey Recovery. The IdeaPad Flex 2 has been priced at Rs. 42,250, is available in black and white colors and weighs 2 kg.
