Starting from May 2, 2014, Korean Air is all set to introduce the nation’s first non-stop flights to Houston, Texas. The latest announcement from the company comes as a relief for travelers who are doing business in the American city, as well as for those who are connecting to other cities located in South and Central America.

South Korea’s biggest air carrier said that daily flights will be taking off from Incheon at 9:10 am and will arrive in Houston at 8:30 am, while the return flights will leave Houston at 10:40 am and will arrive in Incheon the following day, at 3:30 pm. The airline will be using a B777-200 aircraft for the flights, which has a capacity of 248 passengers.

Houston is the biggest city in Texas and also the fourth-most-populated city in the United States with about 2.1 million people. The American city is also known for being the home of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration and also has one of the biggest medical institutions in the world, the Texas Medical Center.

Moreover, the city is also full of tourist attractions. The Houston Museum features about 40,000 artworks and is the biggest art museum in the state of Texas. In addition to that, Houston has huge infrastructure for performance arts like opera, ballet, play and classic music.
