Asia Bizz: Indian telecom service company, Tata DOCOMO on Wednesday launched the 3G Wi-Fi Hub, an internet access device. The Tata DOCOMO, is one of the fastest growing telecom services in India.

This will be for the first time in the Indian market that would offer the users dual mode of internet connectivity. This would take the wireless broad band to the next level.

The device will be available on the Tata Photon Plus CDMA platform as well as Tata DOCOMO’s Next Gen 3G GSM network. The speed that will be offered to the users will be up to 7.2 Mbps.

The users can access the 3G speeds in all the nine circles of Tata DOCOMO. The user can then also switch to the high speed Tata Photon Plus platform, when in other locations.

Deepak Gulati, the executive president of the Tata Teleservices Limited has said that their latest offering of 3G WI-Fi Hub has assured the customers of the easy connectivity for the cross section of the user categories. In 3G mode the device would give up to 7.2 Mbps and 3.1 Mbps in High Speed Internet Access mode. The device has seamless connectivity, portable powered battery and is also password protected to assure security.
