South Korean tech giant Samsung has announced its new, kids-friendly version of the Galaxy Tab 3. With the latest launch, the company is gearing up for the upcoming holiday season as parents will be searching for the best Christmas gift for their children.
The kids’ version of the Galaxy Tab 3 features bright colors in order to attract children and also has an orange-colored bumper. The new Galaxy Tab 3 might be for children, but the company did not disappoint when it comes to the device’s features and specifications, as it has an HD screen and dual-core processor. On the other hand, applications and the all-round usability are what ultimately matters when choosing a tablet.
Samsung is offering plenty of pre-loaded content with the new tablet, such as educational apps and children-friendly games, as well as a new interface so that it becomes easy for children to navigate. As it is meant for children, it also features parental controls so that parents are in charge of the usage of internet. The best parental control setting is that the tablet shuts down automatically after 90 minutes of gaming.
The children’s version of the Tab 3 will be launched in the US market on November 10, 2013 and will be priced at $229.
