Mobile phone manufacturing giant Sony has unveiled its Xperia L in the Indian market, along with the Xperia SP and the Xperia L is now available for pre-orders in the country. Popular online retailing store Snapdeal.com is offering the device for Rs. 18,990, where it is available in black and white colours.
The online store has also said that deliveries of the new device will start in the next seven business days. Moreover, another online retailer Infibeam has started taking pre-orders of the device and has claimed that the phone will be launched on May 8, 2013. So far Sony has not listed the new Xperia L on its official website.
The Xperia L features a 4.3 inch TFT touchscreen display with a 854 x 480 resolution, with 228 ppi pixel density. The device runs on the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS and has a 1Ghz dual core Krait processor. In terms of capacity, the phone comes with 8GB onboard storage, 1 GB RAM and microSD support of up to 32GB.
The new Sony phone also comes with an 8 megapixel camera with LED flash and a VGA camera in the front. Connectivity features of the phone include 3G, 2G, Wifi, Bluetooth 4.0, as well as micro USB 2.0 and NFC.
