South Korean smartphone manufacturing giant Samsung is all set to launch its Galaxy Grand Neo in the Indian market. The new Galaxy device from Samsung will be priced at Rs. 19,000.
The device was unveiled internationally in January 2014 and was listed on Samsung’s Jordan website. The retailer based in Mumbai, Mahesh Telecom has priced the latest Galaxy Grand Neo at Rs. 19,010, while on Best Buy, the new phone is slightly cheaper and is priced at Rs. 18,190. The new Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo comes with a 5.1-inch TFT screen and 480 x 800 pixels resolution.
Other features of the highly anticipated device include a 5-megapixel camera with a VGA front camera, 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and 1 GB of RAM. The device has an internal memory of 16 GB, which can be further expanded by up to 64 GB with the help of a microSD card.
The Galaxy Grand Neo is powered by a 2,100 mAh battery and runs on Android v4.3 Jelly Bean operating system. Samsung will be launching the Galaxy Grand Neo in dual-SIM, as well as single-SIM options. It can be noticed that the new device does not have anything new when compared to the Grand 2. At present, the Grand 2 is selling for Rs. 22,500, which is not a lot more expensive than the expected cost of the Grand Neo.
